Comparing Professional Sports and Healthcare Legislation

I'm struck by how much the health care reform legislation is starting to have the feel of the end of a professional sports season. Who's in the playoffs for sure and who's on the bubble. What late season player situations are most likely to affect that? Once the playoffs start, which is most likely to take it all? Compare with which features of of the legislation are in and which are out? Who is the next Senator to throw a tantrum to get a deal made behind the scenes for them or their state? What is the final version going to look like after conference and will that version pass both houses?
